Venue & Parking
BOND ST Event Centre
44 Bond Street East
Oshawa, ON L1G 1B1
The venue sits in downtown Oshawa, a two-minute walk from the Bond and Simcoe intersection. Paid parking is available on site and in the municipal lots along Bond Street East. If you are coming by transit, Durham Region Transit routes stop within a block, and the Oshawa GO station is a short cab ride south.
Coming from Whitby, Ajax, Pickering, Courtice or Bowmanville? You are 10 to 30 minutes away. Coming from Toronto’s east end? You will likely get here faster than you would get to a downtown club on a Friday night.
Good to Know
- Ages 19+. Valid government photo ID is required for entry on both nights.
- No refunds. Tickets are non-refundable. Check the date on your ticket before you buy — the two nights have different line-ups and different start times.
- Arrive at doors. Seating is first come, first served, so turning up when doors open gets you a better spot.
- Tickets are sold through Eventbrite. The buttons above take you to the official Eventbrite listing for each night, where checkout and ticket delivery are handled.
What to Expect
This is a straight stand-up show, not a variety night — a run of comedians doing sets, building to a headliner. Each night is a different bill, so if you come to both you are not seeing the same show twice. Friday runs two hours, Saturday runs two and a half.
The Durham Comedy Festival is organised by Ryan Hillis and brings comedians from the Toronto circuit and beyond out to Durham Region. The Boardroom Comedy Club is proud to be part of the bill — our own Ronen Geisler performs on the Friday night card.
Can’t Make It to Oshawa?
The Boardroom Comedy Club runs weekly stand-up shows at two Toronto locations — 1350 St. Clair Ave West and 932 Bloor St West. Both rooms are rated 4.9 stars on Google.
